Almancil Area
**Almancil** has become a very important town,
especially for providing visitors and residents with everyday essentials and
providing them with the services they require.
In the town centre there are lots of different shops to chose from whether it's
for food shopping or clothes. There are interior decorator shops, furnishing
shops and a choice of real estate offices including Villas and Vacations. There
is also a wide selection of restaurants to choose from that offer different
forms of cuisine to suit everyones tastes. The restaurants differ from traditional
Portuguese cuisine to that of English, French, Italian, Indian and Chinese.
*Almancil* contains Petrol Stations, a Taxi Centre, a Police Station and a Medical
and Dentistry Centre. Some of the sources of entertainment include *Vila Sol
Golf and Country Club*, a Go-Karting Track, a Gym, a Beauty Spa, a Football
Pitch and a Sunday Market. Also in *Almancil* centre there is an English Book
Shop, an International School and a Gardening Centre.
Not far from *Almancil* centre you can reach luxurious villa developments, golf
courses and beach facilities of *Quinta do Lago*, *Vale do Lobo* and *Vila Sol*.
