The Lisbon Marathon is one of the more popular in Europe, attracting the big names to the professional race and thousands to run either for charity or for the fantastic sense of personal achievement it must offer. The race starts in the Praça D Pedro IV (Rossio) and ends in the Praça do Municipio.
